Below are other important dates on the FAU academic calendar for the Spring semester of 2025.

1. FAU Registration for the Spring semester 2026 opens on October 31, 2025.
2. Non-Degree registration opens on, January 2, 2026.
3. FAU move-in day for Spring 2025 is from January 5 to January 7. New
   residents must schedule their move-in appointment through the Housing
   portal.
4. FAU Spring 2025 classes start on January 7, 2025.
5. Add/Drop deadline is January 13, 2025.
6. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday is January 16, 2025.
7. 60+ audit registration is on Tuesday, January 17, 2025.
8. The last day to pay without late fees is January 17, 2025.
9. February 6 2025 is the last day to withdraw with a 25% tuition adjustment.
10. FAU Spring Break 2025 is from Saturday, March 4 2025 to March 10, 2025.
11. Mid-term grades are due on March 13, 2025.
12. March 24 2025 is the last day to drop with a “W”.
13. Spring 2025 classes end on April 24, 2025.
14. Reading days begin on April 25 2025 to April 26, 2025.
15. Final exams begin on April 27 2025 to May 3, 2025.
16. Your final grades are due at 9 am on May 8, 2025.

FAU Academic Calendar Fall 2025

FAU Fall Semester 2025 begins on August 13, 2025. Below are
other important dates on the FAU academic calendar for the Fall semester
of 2025.

1. Fall 2022 Registration opens on March 28, 2025.
2. Non-Degree registration opens on August 15, 2025.
3. FAU move-in day for Fall 2025 is from August 17 to August 22, 2025 (9
   a.m. to 6 p.m.). Students must schedule a move-in appointment through
   the Housing portal in July. Check out FAU Canvas and myFAU login
   guide.
4. FAU Fall classes begin on August 20, 2025.
5. The add/Drop deadline is August 26, 2025.
6. 60+ audit registration is August 29, 2025.
7. The last day to pay without late fees is also August 29, 2025.
8. September 5 2025 is labor day. FAU Holiday.
9. September 19 2025 is the last day to withdraw with a 25% tuition adjustment.
10. October 28 2025 is the last day to drop with a “W”.
11. November 11 2025 is Veteran’s Day (University closed).
12. Thanksgiving Break Begins on November 24 to November 27, 2025.
13. Fall classes end on December 3, 2025.
14. Reading days begin on December 5 2025 to December 7, 2025.
15. Final exams begin on December 8 to December 14, 2025.
16. FAU Commencement/graduation is on December 15, and December 16, 2025.
17. FAU fall semester ends on Friday, December 16, 2025.
18. Your final grades will be available on December 19, 2025.

1. Registration opens on March 28, 2025.
2. Non-Degree registration opens on May 9, 2025.
3. FAU move-in day in Summer 2025 is from May 12 to May 14.
4. Summer classes begin on May 12, 2025.
5. Add/Drop deadline is May 20.
6. 60+ audit registration is on May 23.
7. The last day to pay without late fees is also May 23, 2025.
8. June 23 2025 is the last day to withdraw with a 25% tuition adjustment.
9. July 22 is the last day to drop with a “W”
10. Summer classes end on August 5, 2025.
11. The summer semester ends on August 9, 2025.
12. Your final grades will be available on August 10, 2025.
