How to Apply for Uni through UAC 2025-2026

If you want to apply for admission to a University through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) for the 2023-2024 academic year, follow these simple steps below:

1. Go to the UAC application website: www.uac.edu.au online
2. Then you click on the ‘Apply or log in‘ button at the top right menu of the page
3. Select the application type.
4. After that, follow the prompts to commence your application
5. Then enter your details. Ensure that you provide the correct details
6. Provide details of your studies and qualifications.
7. Select your course preferences.
8. Accept the applicant declaration and pay for your application.
9. Complete and submit your application for review

After you have submitted your application, you have to wait for a while for UAC to go through your application. They do this to make sure that you meet all their criteria. To know if your application was successful, log in to your application to keep track of its progress and to change your preferences if you want to. Log in to check your offers as well.

Applying for Uni through UAC

You can apply for undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework) study through UAC if  and only if you are:

• a permanent resident of Australia
• an Australian or New Zealand citizen
• the holder of an Australian permanent resident humanitarian visa.

You can also apply for undergraduate study through UAC if you are an international student who has completed or is undertaking one of the following qualifications in 2025 or 2026:

• an Australian Year 12 in or outside Australia
• an International Baccalaureate Diploma
• a New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3.

Everyone else needs to apply directly to the uni.
