Umich calendar 2025

The academic year 2025-2026 calendar is attached and is designed in the same manner as the calendars for 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-2025 calendars. The calendar includes a pre-Labor Day start, Monday, August 25, which provides a one-week break between the end of the summer term and the start of the fall term. It also includes a fall break, October 13 – 14, and no classes on the day
before Thanksgiving, November 26.

The winter term will start on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. This calendar reflects a move to starting classes on the first Wednesday after the first Thursday in January. Juneteenth will be a day of symposia/no regular classes. UM Academic Calendar 2025-2026;
