University of Buckingham Admission Requirements 2026/2027
The undergraduate degrees provide unique options and combinations that will enable you to select a degree programme to suit your needs and future aspirations. If you are considering enrolling as a full-time undergraduate student at The University of Buckingham, you will need to have an HSGD with a GPA of 3.0 plus one of the following:
- A score of 1100+ on the SAT (out of 1600)
- Advanced Placement tests (APT) three subjects with a score of 4 or 5
- ACTs with a minimum of 26 plus three SATS with minimum scores of 600 in each
- One year US university with a GPA of 3.0
Note: Combinations of any of the above are also acceptable. The grades quoted above indicate a typical offer; at the Admissions Tutor’s discretion, alternative qualifications or grades may be considered.
University of Buckingham Postgraduate Admission Requirements 2026/2027
To study at the postgraduate level (Master’s degree), you will generally need to have attained the following:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised higher education institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (the level will differ for each school of study).
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised higher education institution is equivalent to a British Bachelor’s (Honours) degree, with a minimum of a 2:2 (the level will differ for each school of study).
Note: The grades quoted above indicate a typical offer; at the Admissions Tutor’s discretion, alternative qualifications or grades may be considered. All applications will be considered individually, and work experience and other interdisciplinary achievements are taken into consideration when deciding upon all applications. Applicants may also be invited to interview.

Applying for undergraduate courses at the University of Buckingham can be done in two different ways. You can apply using UCAS or apply directly to the university.

- You need to first register with UCAS

University of Buckingham Postgraduate Application Process 2026/2027
If you are interested in postgraduate study, you can apply directly through the application portal of Buckingham University. There’s no fee for applying directly, and you can apply at any time during the year. UB can accept direct applications right up until shortly before a course starts. Follow the process below to apply:
Click the ‘New User’ button to begin your application.
- You will be able to create your password, which you can use to return to your application at any stage (up to one month from starting it).
- Make a note of your password and your User ID. This is your application number and you will need this to log in again or enquire about your application.
Upload the following documents:
- Your details including name, address, email address and telephone number including country code
- Details of all your qualifications, including the date they were awarded (if you are not sure of the exact date please select the first of the month)
- Details of any pending exam results
- Your English language test results (if English is not your native language)
- Details of your work experience

Note: After the University of Buckingham has received your application, they will send an acknowledgement email to the address used on the form, this will refer to your User ID which becomes your unique application number it is 7 digits long and should be quoted in all correspondence with the university. You will receive a copy of your application form to check. If you need to change any information please contact the University with your 7-digit ID number.
