University of Buckingham Undergraduate Application 2025/2026
The application window at Buckingham University has been open to prospective students for the 2025/2026 academic year. If you want to start your undergraduate degree in September, you can apply via UCAS to study at The University of Buckingham. There are two main intake seasons every year at the University of Buckingham: January and September. Or you can apply directly for any undergraduate or postgraduate course via the course pages on the official website of the university.
UB accepts direct applications up until shortly before the course’s start date. The application date open for September intake for UK students is 30 August 2024 and 2 August 2024 for international students who will need visas in other to be able to study in the UK. Intake in January 2025 starts from 20 December 2024 for UK students and 22 November 2024 for international students. Various intakes are offered throughout the year for postgraduate courses.
Though age is no barrier to learning and Buckingham University welcomes all applications from suitably qualified students, all students must have reached the age of 17 by the date of their first registration. If you want to start your undergraduate degree in September, you can apply via UCAS to study at The University of Buckingham by making. The University of Buckingham UCAS application code is B90.
- The application deadline for undergraduate students applying for the 2025 academic year is 25th January 2025.
- September 2024 start: apply by 30 August 2024 for UK students,
- 2 August 2024 if you are an international student needing a Student visa.

University of Buckingham Undergraduate Application Requirements 2025/2026
The undergraduate degrees provide unique options and combinations that will enable you to select a degree programme to suit your needs and future aspirations. If you are considering enrolling as a full-time undergraduate student at The University of Buckingham, you will need to have an HSGD with a GPA of 3.0 plus one of the following:
- A score of 1100+ on the SAT (out of 1600)
- Advanced Placement tests (APT) three subjects with a score of 4 or 5
- ACTs with a minimum of 26 plus three SATS with minimum scores of 600 in each
- One year US university with a GPA of 3.0
Note: Combinations of any of the above are also acceptable. The grades quoted above indicate a typical offer; at the Admissions Tutor’s discretion, alternative qualifications or grades may be considered.
University of Buckingham Postgraduate Application Requirements 2025/2026
To study at the postgraduate level (Master’s degree), you will generally need to have attained the following:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised higher education institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (the level will differ for each school of study).
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised higher education institution is equivalent to a British Bachelor’s (Honours) degree, with a minimum of a 2:2 (the level will differ for each school of study).
Note: The grades quoted above indicate a typical offer; at the Admissions Tutor’s discretion, alternative qualifications or grades may be considered. All applications will be considered individually and work experience and other interdisciplinary achievements are taken into consideration when deciding upon all applications. Applying for undergraduate courses at the University of Buckingham University can be done in two different methods. You can apply using UCAS or apply directly to the university.
Apply Using UCAS:
- You need to first register with UCAS
- Fill out the application(form) by providing all personal information like your name, email address, residence address, your parent’s names and their statuses, personal contact details etc.
- Upload your educational transcripts, grades, certificates and result slip.
- Complete your employment history
- Select your course choices
- Write and submit your statement
- Read through the whole process and every piece of information provided is genuine and every space is filled correctly.

- Get a reference, pay your application fee, and send your application
Applying Direct To Buckingham University:
Applying to the University Of Buckingham is very simple by following the following process:
- Go to the official website of Buckingham University
- Visit the course page of the programme you would like to study
- Click on Apply Now button at the top of the course page
- Follow the process by providing the required information and documentation
- Click on Done or Submit

University of Buckingham Postgraduate Application Process 2025/2026
If you are interested in postgraduate study, you can apply directly through the application portal of Buckingham University. There’s no fee for applying directly, and you can apply at any time during the year. UB can accept direct applications right up until shortly before a course starts. Follow the process below to apply:
Click the ‘New User’ button to begin your application.
- You will be able to create your password which you can use to return to your application at any stage (up to one month from starting it).
- Make a note of your password and your User ID. This is your application number and you will need this to log in again or enquire about your application.
Upload the following documents:
- Your details including name, address, email address and telephone number including country code
- Details of all your qualifications, including the date they were awarded (if you are not sure of the exact date please select the first of the month)
- Details of any pending exam results
- Your English language test results (if English is not your native language)
- Details of your work experience
- Details of your referee/s (Two references are required for Postgraduate applications)
You will also be required to upload copies of:
- Passport (bio page)
- Certificates and transcripts
- English language test report form (e.g IELTS)
To leave the online application form just finish the page you’re working on, click the “Save and return later’ button at the bottom of the page and log out.
To retrieve your details at a later date, browse back to the form and log in.
Click on submit.
Note: After the University of Buckingham has received your application, they will send an acknowledgement email to the address used on the form, this will refer to your User ID which becomes your unique application number it is 7 digits long and should be quoted in all correspondence with the university. You will receive a copy of your application form to check. If you need to change any information please contact the University with your 7-digit ID number.
