  • Tariff for Undergraduate Courses: UCAS Tariff score between 88-128 points.
  • Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements for our three-year programmes, or those who do not feel fully prepared for first-year entry, can be considered for the four-year programme, including a foundation year.
  • Applicants to these will have typically achieved between 32-56 UCAS tariff points. Applicants are required to have a minimum of IELTS 5.5 in all areas for courses with a foundation year.

  • Some programmes (such as Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work and Operating Department Practice) frequently require a higher tariff for entry, which can be found on the relevant course page.
  • Applicants may also be required to undertake an additional written assessment to establish that an appropriate level of ability in the English language and mathematics has been achieved.
  • All English waivers need to be taken within the last 2 years for undergraduate applications, and 5 years for postgraduate applications. Any English qualifications, such as IELTS, PTE and TOEFL, need to be taken within 2 years.
