All new applications should be completed and received by the Canadian Mennonite University application dates:

Canadian Mennonite University Admission Requirements: Canadian Students-Manitoba
All applicants who meet the university’s academic entrance requirements are accepted at Canadian Mennonite University, regardless of their racial, ethnic, or national origin, religious affiliation, gender identity or sexual orientation, social or economic standing, or political affiliation.

Following the submission of an application and a recent transcript with a list of the classes presently being taken, CMU will review the materials for conditional admission. They need to be submitted through the application portal (received upon application). Final paper transcripts (originals) from the student or electronic records sent from the school after the academic year is over are required for full admission. (For high school students, the completion of Grade 12 would be in June.)

How To Apply For Canadian Mennonite University 2026-2027
If you are a Canadian or an International applicants, follow the steps below;
Step 1: Choose Your Program and Review Requirements
Start by selecting the program you are interested in. Each program has its admission requirements. Most undergraduate programs require a minimum average of 70% in high school courses. If English is not your first language, you will need to submit a valid English language test score, such as IELTS or TOEFL.
Step 2: Complete the Online Application
Visit the CMU website and fill out the online application form.
Step 3: Submit Supporting Documents
You will need to upload your transcripts and, if required, proof of English language proficiency. Final official transcripts must be sent directly from your school or university.
Step 4: Check for Updates and Admission Decision
After submitting your application, log in regularly to check for updates or missing documents. You can expect an admission decision in a few weeks after everything is received.
Step 5: Confirm Admission and Pay Deposit
Once accepted, international students must pay a deposit to receive an official Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL), which are required to apply for a Canadian study permit.
The deposit is CAD 10,000 for undergraduate international students (due by June 30) and CAD 8,000 for graduate international students (due by June 1).
Step 6: Apply for Scholarships and Financial Aid
CMU offers scholarships and bursaries to help with tuition.
NB: Once all required materials, including the application and reference letters, have been submitted, the application will be reviewed by the Director of Estamos along with relevant CMU faculty members. Applicants will be informed of their acceptance status within 10 business days after the application deadline.
Accepted students will then receive additional details about the program. To confirm their place, all accepted students must submit a non-refundable deposit of $500 by the specified deadline. If a particular Estamos program does not have enough participants, students will be notified ahead of time and given the option to transfer their application to another available Estamos study program.
