How To Apply At SDSU 2026-2027
Follow the step-by-step guide below to apply for the 2026-2027 academic year;
For Undergraduate Applicants (First-Time Freshmen & Transfers)
Step 1: Submit Your Application
- Apply online through Cal State Apply.
- Pay the $70 application fee (fee waivers may be available).
- Choose your intended major, and you may list an alternate choice.
Step 2: Report Your Academic Records
- Freshmen should self-report their high school courses and grades in the application.
- Transfer students must have completed at least 60 transferable semester units by the end of spring semester before enrollment.
Step 3: Maintain Your Grades
- Keep your grades strong through your final semester, as admission offers can be withdrawn if grades drop significantly.
Step 4: Submit Official Transcripts
- After admission, send official transcripts to SDSU to verify your academic record.
For Graduate and Credential Applicants
Step 1: Submit Your Graduate Application
- Apply through Cal State Apply and pay the $70 fee. Fee waivers may be available.
