STEP 1: Create an Account on the Application Portal

  • To create your future student account, go to STU.ca/signup.
  • Visit STU.ca/admissions to review the prerequisites for admission. To obtain a comprehensive list of their entry requirements, click on your native province or nation.

*STEP 2: Submit Your Application—Admission Opens October 1

  • Log in to your account at STU.ca/myaccount
  • Click “Start New Application.”
  • Submit the required information
  • Pay the $55 ($40 for applicants from New Brunswick) non-refundable application fee at the end to complete your application.

STEP 3: Send Your Official Documents

  • Canadian High School Applicants- Please send your high school transcript to the admissions office at admissions@stu.ca or ask your institution to do so.
  • International Applicants-International applicants whose first language is not English must also make arrangements to have an official copy of their English proficiency test results delivered directly to the Admissions Office in addition to submitting a high school transcript. The ETS institution code for St. Thomas University is 0803. International candidates who claim to be Permanent Residents are required to submit a photocopy of their identification documents.
  • Transfer, Returning, or Senior Applicants-Send the admissions office your official transcript(s) from any university you have attended or are currently attending. A final high school transcript should be provided by transfer students who are currently enrolled in their first term of university study and who desire to transfer for the January session of their first year.
  • Adult Learners-Send in a typed letter of 1-2 pages outlining your educational history, professional experience, and future academic plans. Academic records from high school or a GED, if applicable, must also be submitted by mature applicants.
