You must submit an online application at apply.twu.ca to apply. This is TWU’s primary application portal. You can log in with your usual username and password if you are a TWU student. Please create a username and password if you are a visiting student. You can store your partially finished application and return to the website later to finish it. The deadline for applications is February 15. In late February, applicants will be accepted for the Fall (September to December) and Spring (January to April) semesters. For the Spring semester, a “top-up” application will be made accessible. The cutoff date is October 15 of the semester before the subsequent Spring term. Application Components:
- An online application (completed by you). Choose “Laurentian Leadership Centre” in the drop-down menu.
- Email addresses of two Academic References (to be completed by professors who know you).
- Email address for a Personal/Character Reference. (This should be completed by a pastor or family friend who knows you personally as a mentor. It should not be a fellow student unless that person is your RA.)
- Resumé (which must be attached at the end of your application).
- Unofficial Academic Transcript(s) (for transcripts other than TWU transcripts).
- Academic writing sample. (Attach a paper that you are proud of at the end of your application.)

Trinity Western University Transfer Admission Requirements
Only post-secondary work will be taken into consideration when admitting students who are transferring in with 27 or more credits. Admission requires at least a 2.0. You must fulfill the high school student admission standards for your province or state if you are transferring in with fewer than 27 credits because acceptance will also be dependent on your high school work./TWU application status
Do you need further details about the requirements for high school admission? Within two weeks of receiving your application and transcripts, they ought to be able to decide whether to accept you. Additionally, an academic scholarship will be automatically evaluated for you. Note: A minimum letter grade of at least a pass is required in some required courses in the business, education, and nursing programs. If they receive a passing mark, students transferring from BCIT may transfer courses with equivalence (no less than a D).
Academic Admission Requirements-BC Curriculum (local or offshore)
- Total of 4 Grade 12 Academic Courses (English 12 + 3 more) with a 70% average. Note that English 12 is required for academic entry.
- The English 12 requirement is 55%.
- Students must have achieved the Dogwood (graduation verification)
- Three academic Grade 11 courses (or equivalent) are also recommended including English 11, not including physical and health education, career education, applied design, skills and technology, and religious studies courses. It is recommended that one course in Grade 11 and one course in Grade 12 be a Math or Science.
Proof of English Language is met by time in an English high school:
- For Offshore schools, we require 3 years in the BC curriculum. This meets the language requirement.
- Local BC students, less than 3 years will be accepted
US Curriculum (in the US or at an international school using US curriculum)Academic Admission Requirements
Standard requirements: Four years of high school in US Curriculum with:
- 4 English
- 3 math
- 2 sciences
- 2 socials
- 2 others
Proof of English Language is met by time in an English high school: - For international schools, we require 3 years in the US curriculum.
- For students who are studying in the US, less than 3 years will be accepted.
Trinity Western University Application Process

Step One:
For an application package, get in touch with them. The application form must be completed. Legal Confirmation Forms must be signed.
Step Two:
Compile all your documents.
- The application was completed and signed
- Legal Confirmation signed
- Proof of graduation (certificate/diploma or school letter)
- Transcripts from high school
- Transcripts from other schools (if applicable)
- Certified English translations of documents, if applicable.

Step Three:

Step Four:
If you are approved, provide the needed money as soon as you can (see Methods of Payment). Your position is reserved once your costs are paid.
They will issue an official Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and deliver the paperwork you need to apply for your visa as soon as they receive your cash.
Step Five:
Request a student visa (if applicable). They can assist you with any queries. Once you have secured a flight reservation and acquired your visa, let them know.
They can assist if you need transportation to the airport.
Step Six
Melinda Dewsbury, the director of UT1, will send out announcements and information via email, so check it frequently. The director will assist you in choosing a few classes and registering.

Step Seven
The first week of September is the start of Orientation Week.
To allow for orientation and to settle in before classes begin, it is advised that you arrive on August 30.
