The University of Cape Town (UCT) Online Application 2025-2026 Academic year for Undergraduate programmes will be open on 2 April 2024 and close on 31 July 2024. All prospective undergraduate applicants who wish to study at UCT must submit an online application via the www.uct.ac.za online application form 2025 portal before the closing date or deadline. UCT will not consider late applications for 2025.

• The closing date for applications for undergraduate study at UCT in 2025 is 31 July 2024.

How to Apply UCT Online Application 2025 Undergraduate

UCT Application 2025 undergraduate programme is very easy and simple. Just follow the steps below

1. Apply online at https://applyonline.uct.ac.za
2. Select the year you are applying for
3. Then, click on continue
4. Read carefully and consent to the UCT privacy notice
5. Use an email address that belongs to you and that is not being used by any other applicant to UCT
6. Enter your details in the spaces provided and create a UCT account
7. After that, sign in to UCT Student Portal with your email address and password
8. Complete and submit your application for evaluation

UCT Admission Requirements 2025 Undergraduate Studies

Make sure you familiarise yourself with UCT admission requirements for the 2025-2026 academic year. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to UCT. Places are limited for reasons of capacity and this could mean that applicants who meet the minimum admission requirements do not receive an offer of a study place.

• You must have your school curriculum, academic performance and National Benchmark Test results
• register for the NBTs before you apply online
• include your NBT registration number in your application
• English language proficiency is a requirement for study at UCT
• A valid (no more than 2 years old) TOEFL iBT Score Report with an overall score of 88 or above, with at least 19 in Listening, 19 in Writing, 20 in Reading, and 22 in Speaking.
• A valid (no more than 2 years old) IELTS Academic Test Report Form with an overall score of band 6.5 or above, with at least 6.0 in each component.
• A valid (no more than 2 years old) PTE Academic Score Report with an overall score of 67 or above, with at least 59 in each communicative skills component

UCT Application Fees 2025 Undergraduate

The following fees are applicable:

• UCT students and graduates, and Semester Study Abroad (SSA): No fee
• Undergraduate applications from South Africa and the SADC region: R 100
• Undergraduate applications from outside of the SADC region: R 300
