Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2026 academic year will be open from 21 August to 11 October 2025. Meanwhile, applications for limited undergraduate qualifications for the 2026 academic year will be accepted from 14 April to 9 May 2025.
Applications for honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2026 academic year will also open from 21 August to 11 October 2024.
For master’s and doctoral degrees, applications for the 2026 academic year will be open from 2 September to 22 November 2024, with some exceptions.
Applications and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes will begin in November 2024.

Unisa Undergraduates 2026 Application Fee

An application fee of R140 is required from all applicants. The application fee only applies to students who do not already have a formal Unisa student number.

Required Documents To Apply For Unisa Undergraduates 2026

The due date for uploading the required documents is the closing date for applications. No documents submitted after the closing date for applications will be accepted. Unisa does not provide scanners or electronic devices. Please ensure that your documents are scanned and uploaded to an electronic device before starting the application process.
