Required Documents To Apply At UNL 2026-2027
Before starting your admission application, it is helpful to gather the following information to make the process smoother:
High School Transcript:
- Have a copy of your official transcript, either printed or electronic.
Senior Class Schedule:
- Prepare a list of your current courses and credits.
ACT/SAT Test Scores:

How To Apply For UNL 2026-2027
You can apply to the University of Nebraska, Lincoln (UNL) for the 2026–2027 academic year using either Nebraska’s Application or the Common App. Follow the steps below to apply;
Using Nebraska’s Application
This option allows you to apply directly to UNL.
- Visit the UNL Admissions website.
- Select Nebraska’s Application and create an account.
- Complete the application form with your details, academic background, and other required information.
- Upload unofficial transcripts and optional ACT or SAT scores.
- Pay the application fee or request a fee waiver if eligible.
- Please submit your application and track its status through the MyRED student portal.
Using the Common App
The Common App allows you to apply to UNL and other universities nationwide through a single platform.
- Go to commonapp.org and set up an account.
- Add the University of Nebraska–Lincoln to your list of colleges.
