When beginning your application, it is advised that you have all of your documents scanned and ready for upload. Make sure you meet all entry requirements for the program and general enrollment.
Timely applications via VTAC are accepted from early August through late September. Additionally, there are extremely late and late application times with increased costs. You can modify, remove, or reorder your course preferences in your VTAC course application during the times allowed after you submit your application through VTAC.
International students who have been studying in Australia may also apply to the university through VTAC. The Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) will automatically examine applicants for several scholarships when they apply for a program through them. Fill out the VTAC scholarship application if you think you could be qualified for an equity scholarship.

Current students/ Monash University application dates
Before you begin:
- You will require your application ID and password, log in, and password, your current Monash email account, and your Monash student ID.
- determine which supporting documents you might be required to submit.
- Applications are finished in 30 to 60 minutes.
- Scholarships and grants for coursework are not available to students who are employed full-time by Monash University continuously or a fixed-term contract for 12 months or longer.
Supporting documentation
- After the application, you will be able to upload your supporting paperwork.
- Put your entire name and the scholarship applicant ID in the PDF file’s filename.
- Hard copies of the posted paperwork won’t be accepted
International applicants
You will automatically be considered for merit scholarships if you are an overseas student and apply directly to Monash or through an agency.
A separate application form must be submitted for the:
- Monash International Leadership Scholarship
- Monash International Merit Scholarship.
- KC Kuok Scholarship

Minimum entry requirements/ Monash University application dates
You need to fulfill the minimum admission requirements to be accepted for a course at Monash University. In some cases, there may be more candidates than there are openings in a course, thus meeting these prerequisites does not ensure admission. Many courses have more stringent entry standards, prior coursework, or additional criteria like interviews and portfolios. Examine the course listing in CourseSearch or Find a course (VTAC applicants).

- evidence you meet the English language requirements
