Bangor University Acceptance Rate 2025/2026

Bangor University Acceptance Rate 2025/2026

Bangor University is among the few university institutions that do not provide data on acceptance rates. This is because a university has a program laid out where an applicant only needs to meet admission requirements to enrol and doesn’t necessarily compete with others.  The acceptance rate for Bangor University is 83%. The estimated acceptance rate is based on admission statistics of closely ranked nearby universities with similar research profiles that publish such data.

To be admitted to the Bangor universe for the year 2025, applicants need to meet the admission requirements by possessing a General Certificate of Education (GCE) with 2 Advanced (‘A’) passes, plus a General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) pass in English or Welsh language, or vocational qualifications, or foreign equivalent. The academic year 2025 opens from September to June (September – January; January- June). Apply as early as possible.

Applicants applying from other countries(non-UK citizens) can apply for scholarships totalling more than a million pounds. Some of the Bangor University scholarships for international students are the Deans Scholarship, International Scholarship, EU Student Scholarships, Study Abroad Scholarship, and the Bangor HELP University Malaysia Ambassador Scholarship.
