- The low residency stream has one enrolment date per year on 1 October. Applications for October 2025 will open in January 2025 and will close at midnight on May 2025.
Story Foundry PhD and Story Foundry PhD by Publication
- Two enrolment dates are offered per academic year (March and October). Applications for the March 2025 intake are now open and will close at midnight on January 2025. Applications for the October 2025 intake will open in January 2025 and will close at midnight on August 2025.
MyWorld PhD Studentship
- This studentship is available for a start date of March 2025. The deadline for applications is midnight on November 2024 and interviews for the role will take place on December 2024, either in Bath or online.
Undergraduate Courses Application Requirements At Bath Spa University 2025/2026
Entry requirements are listed on the course pages. As part of the process, you will be required to provide evidence to support your application.:
- If you’re applying directly to Bath Spa and not through UCAS, you’ll need to send copies of qualification certificates which you have previously received to the Admissions office. Please send scanned copies by email to admissions@bathspa.ac.uk.
- If you’re applying through UCAS and are studying qualifications other than SQA, A Level or Irish qualifications, we will also require scanned copies of these certificates.
- You’ll be informed of when these documents are to be received in your offer letter.
Supporting documentation:
- Sample of previously written work (i.e. dissertation extract or subject-related work project if nothing academic can be provided
- Where possible, a copy of the highest degree certificate or transcript is to be provided. Other alternatives could be:
- Letter from employer (HR or similar) confirming current role, status, length of service, level/standard of work, etc
- Details provided of the last university studied at
- Two referees should be provided and where possible one of these should be academic. Other alternatives could be:
- Letter from employer (applicant’s line manager or equivalent)
- Character reference or letter from a previous employer
- Commanding Officer letter/reference

- You’re applying directly out of sixth form or college;
- You want to study full-time;
