Minimum Entrance Requirements/ George Whitefield College Prospectus

A National Senior Certificate, or its equivalent, with matriculation exemption, at least 60% in English, and four subjects from the list of required subjects with achievement ratings of 4 or higher

Students from countries other than South Africa who speak English as a second language might be required to take the TOEFL exam (or something similar) to demonstrate English language proficiency at a level appropriate for academic study (see explanation at the very bottom of this page).

Admission Requirements/ George Whitefield College Prospectus

Applicants with a South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) must pass a minimum of four subjects in any four 20-credit NSC subjects with a rating of 4 (Adequate Achievement, 50-59%) or better.
Senior Certificate holders from South Africa require matriculation endorsement.
Applicants having non–South African school-leaving certificates must qualify for a matriculation exemption certificate.
