Beginning on May 1, midyear intake is available. For applications that are submitted on time, the deadline is May 31. While some programs will accept applications after this time, they could close at any point following the official application deadline. Please note that enrollments are subject to space and availability and that some qualifications have their own closing dates. VTAC dates for 2023-2024
Thus, candidates are urged to submit their applications as soon as possible. International students are highly encouraged to submit their applications by the deadlines suggested for their nation or region. Based on the expected processing periods for each country’s visas, they may be earlier than the course’s end date. You will also need to allocate more time if you need a student visa, which is another necessity. VTAC dates for 2023-2024
Important deadlines and dates for coursework for undergraduate and postgraduate students attending RMIT campuses in Australia in 2023. Students taking regular semester-based classes in higher education are subject to these dates. Students pursuing an associate’s degree in business, a paralegal certificate, or a diploma in commerce must also adhere to the dates for further education listed on this page.

There are two intakes each year for which you can apply directly to RMIT.
Semester 1 intake/RMIT intake dates 2023-2024
To ensure that your application is taken into consideration, apply as early as possible for each program. Applications will be accepted until all openings are filled. The start of the class could be delayed as a result of late applications. The following programs have deadlines by which you must submit your application:

The application procedure for universities (and other tertiary institutions) in Victoria is managed by the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC).
Semester 1 intake
- Applications through VTAC are open from August 2023.
- Successful applicants will start their studies in February 2023.
Semester 2(midyear) intake
The midyear entry period at RMIT begins on May 1 of every year, although you must apply directly.
