The Arts University Bournemouth Undergraduate Application 2023/2024

Have you completed high school, are you an international applicant, do you want to seek for transfer from your current university or college or a returning student who will like to enrol to study at the University of Arts Bournemouth for the academic year 2023/2024, if yes then the road is certainly clear for you to begin the process by applying? The Arts University Bournemouth is currently accepting applications for the 2023 academic year. All undergraduate courses offered at AUB can be applied through UCAS or directly using the institution’s online application portal.

The application deadline for new applicants applying through UCAS is to submit their application by the 25th of January 2023 which will be the deadline for application form submission deadline.  You can also apply for entry to year 2 or 3 of a degree course. As a general rule, you’ll need to meet the entry requirements and the content of the degree you’re currently studying needs to be very similar to the course you’re transferring to. AUB will also need you to provide an academic transcript from your current University. Due to the nature of the course, BA (Hons) Acting can only accept applications for the first year.

Undergraduate students are warmly welcome, those who have completed, or who are soon to complete, a T level in a relevant subject to their chosen course of study. Applicants will be required to achieve an overall grade of Merit or above. At the Arts University Bournemouth, both prospective students, transfer and transient students and international applicants can apply to pursue their careers in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses provided they meet the entry requirements of the course. The university also offers foundation programmes, short courses etc.

Applying For Undergraduate Courses Using UCAS:

Step 1: Applying Through UCAS

  • AUB will use your completed UCAS form to make decisions about your application. Make sure you include all of the qualifications that you have and are currently taking. You can also tell about any work experience that you’ve done.
  • In your personal statement, AUB will like to know more about why you’re interested in the course, the key influences on your work and what you hope to do after your studies. There’s more advice in our personal statement guide.
  • If you’re unsure how to apply via UCAS. Please use the contact information at admissions@aub.ac.uk.

Step 2: Track Your Application

  • You can track the status of all your applications via UCAS Hub.
  • Once AUB receives your application, they will send you an email with your login details for the AUB Applicant Portal.
  • You can use this to monitor the progress of your application to AUB. They might contact you for more information, so keep checking your inbox for messages.

Step 3: Interviews, Portfolios and Applicant Days

  • Applicants for some of the courses will be required to attend an on-campus interview and further details about this will be provided by Admissions if your application is selected for an interview. Similarly, some of the courses will be holding on-campus auditions and again, you’ll be provided more information about this if you have been selected for an audition.

Step 4: Accepting Your Offer

  • Once the university has made a decision, they’ll update you via UCAS Track and the AUB applicant portal. AUB should be able to tell you about their decision within 10 working days. You will be notified if there’s any delay.
  • Once you’ve heard from all of the universities, you’ll receive an email or a letter from UCAS, asking you to respond to your offers.
