Unisa Online Application 2025: How to Apply for Admission to Unisa Online 2025
The University of South Africa, Unisa Online Application 2025 academic season will be open 21 August 2024 and close 11 October 2024 for undergraduate, honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas. First-time applicants and Unisa student who wish to start a new qualification must apply for Unisa Admission 2025 online. All Applicants must submit their Unisa Application for 2025 during the prescribed application period. There will be no late application for 2025 at Unisa so make sure you apply on time with an online application fee of R140.00.
The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application you submit without an application fee paid on time will not be process. Please make sure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment.
Application for admission to Unisa 2025 is not automatic. Unisa will accommodate students on the basis of the number of spaces available for each qualification and also, if you meet the admission requirements for your chosen programme. You may apply for a maximum of two qualifications rank in order of preference even although you may register for only one if both of your qualifications be successful.

Application Dates for Unisa 2025
Applicants who plan to apply online for admission at Unisa 2025 must take note of the following application dates. Applications submitted after the closing date will not be accepted.
- Undergraduate application: 21 August to 11 October 2024
- Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas: 21 August to 11 October 2024
- Masters and doctoral degrees: 2 September to 22 November 2024
- All other qualifications: Not yet available
Important Things to Note
- The University of South (Unisa) will let you know of the outcome or status of your application. If successful, they will indicate for which qualification you have been accepted and will offer you a space for the semester 1 of 2025
- You must accept or decline Unisa’s offer within the prescribed period of time. If you miss this deadline, Unisa will withdraw the offer and give your space to another applicant.
- First-time applicants to Unisa are require to complete the First-Year Experience (MOOC)

- Read the instructions carefully

- Fill out the online application form with your details
- Pay the online application fee
- Upload your supporting documents
- Submit your application for review

Unisa will assess your application, which includes the points score system. You may be offered a space for semester 1 of the 2025 academic year based on the following:
- Your minimum academic points score (APS)
- Meeting the academic admission requirements for your qualification of choice
- The number of spaces available for the qualification for which you have applied.
Applicants who do not qualify for admission will get feedback as soon as their applications are processed and those who qualify for admission will only receive final feedback as to whether or not Unisa will offer them a space for semester 1 of the 2025 academic year once all applications received by the closing date have been processed.
