- All undergraduate schools’ first semester, which typically begins in February or March of each year, is the main admissions period.
- In Semester 2, fewer programs are available for admission (or mid-year which usually starts in late July each year).
Most Australian undergraduate applicants should submit their online applications through the Universities Admissions Centre if they are not already enrolled at the University of Newcastle (either in an enabling or undergraduate degree) (UAC). Each year, UAC opens enrollment for Semester 1 in April. Early bird enrolment deadlines are in late September.
