We respect your decision to sign up for a course at UTS. Before you plan to submit your application, make sure to check the deadline if you wish to enrol in UTS’s undergraduate honours or diploma programmes. See the information about the deadline and faculties below. For your convenience, we have provided a step-by-step guide to assist you with the application process for international students.

Every application to UTS must be accompanied by supporting documentation. There may be a need for a variety of supporting documents, depending on the applicant and the type of study you are applying for. If you apply to start at UTS in the Autumn session, which starts in March, the bulk of UTS offers will be made available in December Round 2 via UAC. UTS reserves spots to extend offers to IB and interstate students following the publication of their results in later offer rounds.

Offers are made to students commencing in the Spring from March until the start of the semester. Below is the list of the 2025-2026 deadline dates for the academic year for both domestic and international students.

Application deadlines for each teaching session are as follows:

Autumn session (February/March)
Applicants based outside Australia: 30 November
Applicants based in Australia: 15 December
Spring session (July start)Applicants based outside Australia: 30 April
Applicants based in Australia:31 May
Summer session (November start)
Applicants based outside Australia:30 August
Applicants based in Australia: 30 September

Applications submitted after the deadline won’t be accepted. To ensure that you have enough time to arrange your Australian student visa and enrol at UTS, it is best to apply early.
