We’ve got you covered with all the important dates that students need to be aware of. Set a reminder for any that pertain to you and don’t forget it! Applications submitted before the deadline will have their results before the session begins. You are still urged to submit your application even if the deadlines have passed unless it is specifically specified for a particular course that late applications will normally continue to be reviewed for as long as possible.
To ensure the fastest application procedure before the deadline, you have the option of applying directly to UOW or enlisting the help of an education agent in your neighbourhood. If an international student is enrolled in an Australian high school, they may apply to UOW through UAC. If you want to self-prepare your application and apply to UOW directly, use the online application form.
There is no application fee for online applications. If you plan to attend college after receiving your High School Diploma (HSC) or International Baccalaureate (IB), you can apply through the University Admissions Center as early as feasible (UAC). The information below lists the 2025-2026 application deadline.

Key application deadline dates
Autumn 2025:
- USA/Canada*/Asia/UAE – EXTENDED DEADLINE 21 August 2024
- Europe/UK/Latin America – 5 August 2024
Spring 2025:
- USA/Canada*/Asia/UAE – 6 December 2024
- Europe/UK/Latin America – 7 March 2025
NOTE: Students submit one application for either the USA/Canada/Asia/UAE region deadline OR the Europe/UK/Latin America region deadline. Students cannot combine preferences from the two different regions.
CANADA DEADLINES: McMaster, Alberta, Victoria, UBC, Concordia and Toronto have only ONE deadline which is the Spring deadline.
Short course deadlines
There are no deadlines for short course applications unless a student wishes to be considered for a UOW travel grant. Students must submit their application by the below dates if they wish to be considered for a UOW travel grant.
- Winter Programs: 15th April
- Summer Programs: 15th September
