WSU Academic Calendar 2026-2027

The WSU Academic Calendar for 2026–2027 outlines all the important dates and deadlines students, faculty, and staff need to know for the year ahead. Washington State University’s academic year is divided into three semesters: summer, fall, and spring. Each term comes with its schedule for the start and end of classes, registration periods, holidays, exam dates, and grading deadlines. Keeping track of these dates is an important part of staying organized, meeting academic requirements, and making the most of your time at the university.

The Fall 2026 semester will begin in late August, with breaks and holidays such as Labor Day in early September and Veterans Day in November. Students will also enjoy a short fall break near the end of the term before final exams and the close of the semester. The Spring 2027 semester starts in mid-January and includes observances like Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Presidents Day. A week-long spring break is scheduled mid-term, offering a chance to recharge before classes resume and the semester wraps up in late spring.

The Summer 2027 term begins in late June and runs on a shorter, more intensive schedule. Independence Day will be observed during the summer term, and classes will end in mid-August, just before preparations for the next academic year begin. Students following the WSU Academic Calendar, students can register on time, prepare for exams, plan around holidays, and keep their academic and personal schedules in balance throughout the year.
