The Cardiff Metropolitan University welcomes applications from undergraduate applicants with qualifications from a wide range of academic backgrounds and those with relevant work experience. Applications for the study year 2025 can be made either through UCAS or by applying directly to the University by using the online application portal. Most of the undergraduate courses offered at the Cardiff Metropolitan University are applied via UCAS. The deadline to submit your applications to Cardiff Metropolitan University via UCAS is the 25th of January.
Once you have submitted your application via UCAS, your details will be sent to Cardiff University and they will then communicate with you mostly via email. Make sure the email address on your UCAS application is your email address because if it happens to be different and not yours, you won’t be able to receive any information from the admission team which will eventually cancel your application.

- January – In addition to the September intake, the one-year Global Business Management (Top-Up) and International Accounting and Finance (Top-Up) – BSc (Hons) Degree also have intakes running from January.

Cardiff Metropolitan University Undergraduate Application Requirements 2025/2026
Cardiff Met welcomes applications from applicants who may not necessarily have the required academic qualifications. Generally, however, if you have been out of education for more than five years, an Access to Higher Education Diploma or similar may be required in a relevant subject. The typical requirement for enrollment into programs at Cardiff Met is that applicants hold Level 3 credentials. Cardiff Metropolitan University Undergraduate Application Process 2025/2026
All undergraduate courses offered at The Cardiff Metropolitan University can be applied via UCAS. Once you have decided to apply, you need to make your application online via UCAS. There are sections to complete including your details, your university choices (including Cardiff Met!) and courses, and your Statement.
The personal statement section of your application will take the most time and is the most important so do multiple drafts and ask different people to read over it for you. You should think about why you want to study the course you have chosen, what ambitions you have after completing the course, what extra-curricular activities you have been involved in, any employment skills you have picked up, and any other interesting details that relate to the course.
