Drexel Academic Calendar 2026-2027: Drexel Term Schedule

The Drexel Academic Calendar 2026–2027 outlines all important dates and deadlines for students, faculty, and staff throughout the academic year. Drexel University follows a quarter system, which means the academic year is divided into four terms: fall, winter, spring, and summer. Each quarter typically lasts 10 weeks, followed by a week of final exams and then a short break before the next term begins. It is important to note that Saturday sessions are often included in the regular weekly class schedule.

At Drexel, the majority of academic programs follow this quarter format. However, a few exceptions may exist depending on your specific college or school. If you are unsure whether your program follows the quarter system, it is best to contact your academic department for confirmation. Generally, the Fall Quarter runs from late September to mid-December. The Winter Quarter begins in early January and ends in late March. The Spring Quarter starts in early April and finishes around mid-June. Finally, the Summer Quarter begins in late June and continues through mid-September.

Understanding the structure of the Drexel academic year can help students plan, manage their workload, and meet deadlines on time. Below, you will find key dates and milestones for the 2026–2027 academic year, including term start and end dates, exam weeks, breaks, and university holidays. This guide helps keep track of your academic responsibilities and stay organized throughout the year.
