Applications at Bath University for the 2025/2026 academic year are currently open for all prospective students to apply and gain admission to study a course of their choice. The university offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The application deadline for the 2025 admissions at Bath University is January 2025. Undergraduate Applicants applying for admission are to pay an application fee of 25 and 26 GBP, while students applying for postgraduate courses are to pay 60 GBP along with LORs, IELTS, TOEFL, or GMAT respectively.

The average undergraduate tuition fee ranges from 18,000 to 22,000 GBP and from 19400 to 23,800 GBP for postgraduate programs. The on-campus accommodation cost ranges from 2,736 – 8,300 GBP for undergraduates and from 4,940 – 11,026 GBP per year for postgraduates.  The university knows that all hands are not the same and all are not from the same financial background. It is to this wise that the university has allowed applying for financial aid to support students in paying for their education.

There are also other scholarship schemes available to help students. The Chancellor’s Scholarship worth up to 2000 GBP, The International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship worth 8000 GBP, and the Sports and Creativity Scholarships worth 5,000 GBP per year are some of the scholarships awarded.

A thick sandwich placement means you are away from the University working or studying for at least one continuous academic year.

Thin sandwich placements

A thin sandwich placement year includes one semester of placement or study abroad and the other semester of on-campus study at Bath. BSc Business Administration (years 2 and 3) and BSc Architecture (years 2 and 3) are the only courses which have thin sandwich placements.
