Entry requirements will vary for particular courses, so please check the specific course description before applying:
- The normal entry requirement for postgraduate degrees is a good Honours degree in an appropriate subject from a recognised university.
- Bedfordshire may also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications and individuals with substantial related work experience.
- Applicants who do not have English as a first language will be required to demonstrate they have the correct level of English for their course.
- For MSc/MA by Research, a good Honours degree (2:2 or above) is required in the appropriate subject.
Part-time Postgraduate Study Admission Requirements:
- Part-time study is available on most of the research degrees if you are a UK (Home) or EU applicant. Due to UKVI regulations, Bedfordshire is unable to accept students who require a Tier 4 student visa onto our part-time programmes.
English Language Entry Requirement – Research Graduate School
All international/overseas research degree applicants for whom English is not their first language* are required to have a UKVI-recognised English language qualification (ELQ).

- with an overall score of 6.5 or more
