The 2023/2024 academic year applications for the University of Birmingham have been open to both freshmen applicants, returning students, transfer students, transient students and international applicants who want to study a course that is aligned with their careers. Birmingham University offers both postgraduate and undergraduate courses. For entry in September 2023, the application deadline for most courses is Wednesday 25 January 2023; for Medicine and Dentistry, the deadline is 15 October 2022.  The acceptance rate for Birmingham university is 15%.

A foreign student must pay GBP 22.50/ INR 2093 for a single programme and GBP 27/ INR 2,512 for multiple programmes in order to submit an application to the University of Birmingham for undergraduate studies. Students must also pay a non-refundable application fee of £50/ INR 4,652 for graduate and postgraduate studies.
