Application fee varies depending on the course or programs an applicant is applying for. If you are an applicant applying for an Undergraduate course from Scottish in 2025-2026, the due fee is £1820. Once an applicant has completed his or her registration (i.e. you’ve registered as a student at Abertay), your tuition fees for the full academic year are due for payment. All Scottish students can apply to the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) for undergraduate tuition fee funding for courses starting 2024-25.
Postgraduate Tuition fees vary depending on your programme of study. Once you have completed registration, your tuition fees for the full academic year are due for payment. Applicants applying for postgraduate courses in MSc Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity are to pay a fee of £18,000.

Depending on where an applicant is applying from, an application and tuition fee may differ. Applicants from Scotland who are enrolling for undergraduate degree courses are to pay a tuition fee of £1820 per year.

Undergraduate Application And Tuition Fees For Applicants From England, N Ireland, Wales and ROI 2024/2025:
- Tuition fees for undergraduate students from England, Northern Ireland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland starting their degree course in 2024-25 are to pay a fee of £9250 for a year. - Abertay University offers all new students from England, Northern Ireland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland a fee guarantee: the fee rate published for 2024-25 entrants will be the same each year, and will not increase during your course of study.

Undergraduate tuition fees for international students vary depending on your programme of study. Once an applicant has completed registration (i.e. you’ve registered as a student at Abertay), his/her tuition fees for the full academic year are due for payment.
- International students offering undergraduate degree courses in BA (Hons) Computer Arts, BSc (Hons) Computer Game Applications Development, BSc (Hons) Computer Games Technology, BSc (Hons) Computing, BSc (Hons) Cybersecurity, BSc (Hons) Ethical Hacking, BA (Hons) Game Design and Production are to pay a fee of £15,500 per year.
- All other Undergraduate Bachelors Degree Programmes are £15,000

Postgraduate Tuition fees vary depending on your programme of study. Once you have completed registration, your tuition fees for the full academic year are due for payment.

- Continuation Fee for PhD/MPhil (per academic year) – £500
There may be additional charges where the MSc is not completed within 18 months (FTE). Module fees are on a pro-rata basis of 120 credits.
Each year, UKRI usually increases its fee and stipend levels in line with inflation, based on the Treasury GDP deflator. Minimum fees recommended by UKRI are adopted as our UK-level tuition fee for postgraduate researchers on most doctoral programmes and are usually confirmed in May 2024.
