Numerous certificates, associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, honors degrees, graduate certificates, graduate diplomas, and master’s degrees are among the higher education courses they offer.
There are three intakes—Term 1, 2, and 3—scheduled throughout the year. Using the links below, you can learn more about the important deadlines associated with each of these terms. Throughout the year, TAFE offers diplomas, certifications, skill sets, and short courses. The application key due dates depend on the TAFE program you are interested in studying and the available intakes because many of these courses offer monthly admissions.

COURSES WITH EARLY CLOSING DATES FOR TERM 1, 2025
Echocardiography
CV69 – Bachelor of Echocardiography and Cardiac Physiology/Graduate Diploma of Echocardiography: direct applications (STEPS) and applications via QTAC close Friday, 9 December 2022, while applications via UAC close 5 December 2025.
Medical Imaging
CG92 – Bachelor of Medical Imaging: direct applications (STEPS) and QTAC applications for Term 1, 2026 close 9 December 2025.
Medical Sonography
CG91 – Bachelor of Medical Sonography/Graduate Diploma of Medical Sonography: direct applications (STEPS) for Term 1, 2026, close 9 December 2025. Applications via QTAC, and VTAC also close Friday, 9 December 2025, while applications via UAC close 5 December 2025.
Medicine Pathway
CM17 – Bachelor of Medical Science (Pathway to Medicine): QTAC applications for Term 1, 2026 close 30 September 2025. Please note that all students must complete their UCAT before applying for CM17. UCAT closes in May 2025.
Midwifery
CM16 – Bachelor of Midwifery (Graduate Entry): direct applications for Term 1, 2026, open on 13 June 2025 and close on 30 September 2025. Offers will commence in mid-November 2025.
POSTGRADUATE (COURSEWORK COURSES)
Nursing
CH79 – Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Re-Entry): applications for Term 1 2026 open on 6 June and Close on 20 February 2026.
Psychology
CG17 – Master of Clinical Psychology: applications for Term 1, 2026 open on 1 August 2025, and will close on 31 October 2025. Interviews will be held in late November with offers expected to commence in December 2025.
CL68 – Master of Professional Psychology: applications for Term 1, 2026 open on 1 August 2025, and will close on 31 October 2025. Interviews will be held in late November with offers expected to commence in December 2025

TERM 2 APPLICATION DATES./ cqu intake dates 2025-2026
Looking to start your studies in the middle of the year? The mid-year intake for their higher education courses at CQU begins on July 10, 2026. For your application to be reviewed, you must submit it before July if you want to start in that month. Below are key application deadlines for Term 2. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn more about your options at CQU because applications are currently available.
UNDERGRADUATE COURSES
Nursing
HLT54115 – Diploma of Nursing: direct and QTAC applications for Term 2, 2023 close on 13 June 2025.
CL91 – Bachelor of Nursing: direct and QTAC application due dates for Term 2, 2025 will be available soon. Applications via ApplyCQUni close on 26 June 2025.
Psychology
CC42 – Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours): Applications for Term 2, 2025, open on 1 December 2025 and close on 31 March 2026.
POSTGRADUATE (COURSEWORK COURSES)
CH79 – Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Re-Entry): application for Term 2, 2025 closes 26 June 2025.

TERM 3 APPLICATION DATES/ cqu intake dates 2025-2026
The start of Term 3 is November 7, 2025, but if you plan to enroll in classes in November, you must submit your application before then so that it can be reviewed.
It’s a wonderful idea to research your possibilities at CQU right now since applications for Term 3 2025 are currently available.
UNDERGRADUATE COURSES
Applications for Term 3 of CQUniversity courses for STEPS students are due by October 24, 2025.
Applications submitted through the ApplyCQUni portal for students planning to begin their studies in Term 3, 2025 with the assistance of one of the aforementioned study centers close on October 24, 2025.
POSTGRADUATE (COURSEWORK COURSES)
