IMPORTANT APPLICATION DATES/ CQU intake dates 2023-2024
Many of the courses are currently accepting applications for Term 1 2023. Examine the details below to learn more about early closing dates for courses and other admission deadlines.
Looking to start your studies in the middle of the year? The mid-year intake for all higher education courses at CQU begins on Monday, July 10, 2023. In order for your application to be reviewed, you must submit it before July if you want to start in that month.
Below are key application deadlines for Term 2. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn more about your options at CQU because applications are currently available.
The start of Term 3 is Monday, November 7, but if you plan to enroll in classes in November, you must submit your application before then so that it can be reviewed.

FEES AND CHARGES/ CQU intake dates 2023-2024
Any enrolment-based payment due for both degree-level and TAFE students is included in the student fees. Student contributions, tuition fees (including those for those who have received FEE-HELP or VET Student Loan approval), and the student services and amenities fee for degree-level students are all included in the enrolment-based costs.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Before accepting and enrolling in a unit that contains a clinical placement component, please make sure you review the Schedule of Incidental Fees. An incidental cost may be charged to students engaged in a clinical placement.
Most of their students benefit from not having to pay an application fee.
Most Australian colleges charge an average application cost of around $100.
Supporting document needed to apply at CQU/ CQU intake dates 2023-2024
The following supporting documents, in certified* copies, must be provided:
- Academic transcripts
- Academic transcript translations (if original documents are in a language other than English)
- Passport or another personal identifying document
- Evidence that you meet the English requirement e.g. an English test result.
Please include a copy of your most recent academic transcript if you do not already have one. If additional information or supporting documents is required, the International Admissions Team will get in touch.
A certified copy is a photocopy of the original document that bears the certifier’s printed name, title, signature, and notarization date on a certification stamp. It could come from a Justice of the Peace, Commissioner of Declarations, an employee of CQUniversity, or the institution’s issuing authority.
Certificates proving successful completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 10.
Diplomas Accomplished completion of the AQF Certificate IV or an Australian Year 12 equivalent.
The equivalent of Australia’s Year 12 has been successfully completed. This entry criterion may alternatively be satisfied by completing formal Australian Certificate IV coursework or authorized university foundation study.
You may be given advanced standing in your CQUniversity course if you have successfully completed a certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, or equivalent.
completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution with the last two terms’ averages equal to an Australian pass grade.
