The Nelson Mandela University (NMU) Online Application 2025-2026 portal will be active from April 2024 for prospective undergraduate, postgraduate and international students who wish to join Nelson Mandela University in the 2025-2026 academic cycle. Application for admission to Nelson Mandela University (NMU) for the 2025 academic year will be open in April 2024. Please, keep in mind the following application closing dates to make sure you apply on time.

NMU Academic Admission Dates for 2025:

To ensure adequate time for application, processing and planning by the university and yourself, online applications for early admission in 2025 should be submitted by:

30 June 2024 for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) applications.
30 June 2024 for Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) & Bachelor of Radiography (BRad) applications.
02 August 2024 for early applications (excluding MBChB, BPharm & BRad).
31 October 2024 for late applications (excluding MBChB, BPharm & BRad).
30 September 2024 for international student applications.
31 October 2024 for ALL student housing applications.

Scroll down and click the “Application” link

Click on “Apply online: Prospective Undergraduate students”
Read the online application instructions and click “APPLY ONLINE”
A new application page will be open for you
Carefully read the Important Information and scroll down
Then, click on the “Apply Online Now” link to start the process
Answer the following questions and proceed
Please enter your ID number to continue to authenticate and validate your application
Fill out the online application form with your details as requested
Complete and submit your application for evaluation

Documents Required for NMU Online Application 2025-2026

Upload the following supporting documents when submitting your application for admission to NMU for 2025:

Certified copy of your final Grade 11 exam results
Certified copy of your most recent Grade 12 (June/Sept) exam results (no March results)
Certified copy of your matriculation certificate/statement of results if you have already passed Grade 12/completed schooling,
Certified copies of your diploma/degree certificates plus academic record(s) and certificate(s) of conduct if you have studied elsewhere
Certified copy of your ID (birth certificate if still waiting for ID)
Certified copy of the identity document of your parent/legal guardian/surety,
A declaration by parent / legal guardian/surety if you are a dependant, currently at school, studying at a tertiary institution, or have recently left school and do/will not have permanent employment when applying or studying at the University.
