University of Calgary Application 2026-2027: University of Calgary fees
Students applying for undergraduate admission to the University of Calgary for the 2026–2027 academic year must complete the online Application for Admission. Applications for Fall 2026 open on October 1, with a deadline of March 1. For Winter admission to the Bachelor of Nursing (transfer/degree holders), applications open July 1 and close September 1. Spring admission for the Energy Engineering program opens on October 1 and closes February 1, while Summer admission for Community-Based Education also opens October 1, with a deadline of March 1.
All undergraduate applications must be submitted online at ucalgary.ca/future-students/undergraduate/apply through the Alberta Post-Secondary Application System (APAS). By applying through APAS, students authorize the University of Calgary to request transcripts from Alberta Education and participating Alberta schools on their behalf. Students applying as Visiting, Exchange, or Open Studies students must complete the separate application available at ucalgary.ca/future-students/open-studies. Incomplete applications or those missing the required fee will not be processed. All application materials must be received by the stated deadlines. The university is not responsible for missed deadlines due to late submissions.
Only applications submitted directly through UCalgary’s official website will be considered. If you are working with an agent, make sure your application is submitted correctly. Admission offers will be posted in the Student Centre and sent directly to you. It is strongly recommended to apply early, even if you are still waiting on test scores or final grades.

University of Calgary Application Fee 2026-2027
A non-refundable $125.00 application fee (or $145.00 for candidates presenting international credentials) must be paid by the application deadline for candidates submitting an Application for Admission to the University.
Admission will not be considered for applications sent without the required payment.
This fee must be paid by applicants who must submit a new application for admission to the University of Calgary.

2026-2027 Admission Requirements at the University of Calgary
Prospective students must meet the following requirements before applying for the 2026-2027 academic year;
- English Language Arts 30-1
- Mathematics 30-1
- Two of Aboriginal Studies 30 (5 credits), Biology 30, Chemistry 30, CTS Computing Science 30 Level (5 credits), Language or Language and Culture Courses at the 30 levels, Mathematics 31, Physics 30, Science 30, Social Studies 30-1
- An approved course or option
English Language Proficiency (ELP)The University of Calgary’s official language of teaching is English.
To be considered for admission to an undergraduate degree, all applicants must prove their fluency in the English language. High school coursework, English language test results, and the Academic Communications Certificate are the three options to meet the English language entrance requirements (ACC).

How To Apply To University of Calgary 2026-2027
Follow the Steps below to apply to the University of Calgary for the 2026-2027 academic year;
-Studied in Alberta
Step 1 – Create an ApplyAlberta Account
Starting October 1, go to the ApplyAlberta website to begin your application. Set up your profile and choose “University of Calgary” as your school. If you are applying from a Saskatchewan high school, be sure to include your Saskatchewan Student Number. This helps match your transcript when you send it through MyCreds.
Step 2 – Create or Enter Your UCalgary eID
During the application, you will be asked to enter or create a UCalgary eID. This ID lets you log in to your application and later access your Student Centre.
Step 3 – Complete Your Application
Complete the application with the required information.
Step 4 – Submit Your Application and Pay the Fee
Once your application is complete, submit it and pay the $125 application fee. The easiest way to pay is by credit card through the online application. You can also explore other payment options if needed.
