The material in this area is intended for domestic students (Australian and New Zealand citizens, as well as Australian permanent residents) who are considering enrolling in a single unit (non-award or cross-institutional), bespoke study, or undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree. Your tuition costs vary depending on the course you are enrolled in, the sort of available fee spaces, the year you start, and your fee category (which is determined by citizenship and residency status).

For international students (including New Zealand residents) and students pursuing higher research degrees, separate fees, scholarships, and cost information apply. If you are already enrolled, Current Students has information on tuition, fees, and payments. Choose your student type from the list below: Your fees are shown here if you are an international student or a permanent resident of New Zealand. Commonwealth Supported Places…….. (CSP)

A Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) is a government-funded spot in a university program where the government pays a portion of your tuition directly to the school and you pay the balance, or “student contribution amount,” on top of that.

All undergraduate degrees and a select few postgraduate coursework degrees are eligible for CSPs. The amount of CSP allotted to each course is capped. If you want to know if your course has CSPs, check CSP Availability.

Full Fee Places

The majority of postgraduate students in Australia attend Full Fee institutions.
In a full-fee institution, you are forced to pay the full cost of tuition; but, if you qualify, you may be eligible for government loans (FEE-HELP) and tax deductions for self-education expenses.

Non-Award Study

Non-award units are individual study units that do not count towards a degree or customized course (non-award also includes students enrolled in cross-institutional units).

Visit the Non-Award Study page for additional details about the non-award study.
