Your tuition costs will change depending on your course load, degree, and whether you’re an undergraduate, postgraduate, or higher degree research student. You will be responsible for paying the first semester of the degree listed in your letter of offer as a new student. Tuition, housing, international student health insurance, and living expenses are only a few of the expenses associated with studying abroad and exchange at UniSQ. The Student Services and Amenities fees pay for nonacademic activities and non-academic services include counselling on finances, health issues, finding a job, and other support services. Your tuition costs already include the fee, which is a recurring expense. There is additional cost information available.

You do not have to pay tuition to UniSQ if you are an exchange student from one of its partner institutions. Your home institution receives payment of fees. The international tuition fee schedules for the current academic year are available for review. The costs indicated for each discipline area apply to one unit.

Study abroad fees/university of Southern Queensland fees

Tuition fees for studying abroad are AUD2375 per course in 2025 and 2026.

Accommodation/university of Southern Queensland fees 2025

Starting with the start of the first semester of 2025, fees for 2025 are applicable.

On-campus accommodation is available for Study Abroad and Exchange students. Private accommodation options are available for students studying at our Ipswich or Springfield campuses.

Private accommodation costs vary depending on accommodation type:

Hostels and guesthouses: AUD90 to AUD150 per week
Shared rental: AUD95 to AUD215 per week
On-campus: AUD85 to AUD440 per week
Homestay: AUD235 to AUD325 per week
Rental: AUD185 to AUD440 per week.

Applying to UniSQ/university of Southern Queensland 2025

1. Choose your degree

You can choose between more than 100 degrees and on-campus or online learning options. Additionally, you can download the program guides.

2. Entry requirements

3. Fees and scholarships

Examine the scholarships they have available specifically for international students at UniSQ. By selecting “International students” from the “scholarship category” drop box on the scholarships page, you may see the list of scholarships available to international students as well as information on their eligibility requirements and deadlines.
You will be required to pay the fees listed in your letter of offer as a new student. Flywire enables you to send money abroad utilizing an international Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

4. Education agents

To apply to study with UniSQ, there are no application or assessment fees.
A decision to study abroad can change your life, and the staff of admissions counsellors is prepared to support you as you apply to study at UniSQ. You can locate a UniSQ representative in your area if you need help with your study application or the Australian study visa procedure.

5. Required documentation/university of Southern Queensland fees

You must also send certified copies of the following documents to support your application to study:

official photographic identification
English language proficiency: if you are from a non-English speaking country, we require evidence of your English language proficiency
senior high school (A levels / Year 12) certificate and academic transcripts
all post-secondary study certificates and academic transcripts (if any)
evidence of work experience (if any).

6. Credit exemptions

You might be able to get credit for prior learning or acknowledgement of prior experience if you’ve previously studied or worked. The online application form can be used to submit a credit request.

7. Application deadline

Applying early can help you get a spot and give you time to make the required arrangements for your studies (e.g. visa application, and organizing family and work commitments). Please refer to the key dates for more details, including the deadlines for each semester’s applications.
