Supporting document needed to apply at CQU
The following supporting documents, in certified* copies, must be provided:
- Academic transcripts
- Academic transcript translations (if original documents are in a language other than English)
- A passport or another personal identifying document
- Evidence that you meet the English requirement e.g. an English test result.
Please include a copy of your most recent academic transcript if you do not already have one. If additional information or supporting documents is required, the International Admissions Team will get in touch.
A certified copy is a photocopy of the original document that bears the certifier’s printed name, title, signature, and notarization date on a certification stamp. It could come from a Justice of the Peace, a Commissioner of Declarations, an employee of CQUniversity, or the institution’s issuing authority.

Entry Requirement/CQU semester dates 2025
Certificates proving successful completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 10.
Diplomas Accomplished completion of the AQF Certificate IV or an Australian Year 12 equivalent.
UNDERGRADUATE
The equivalent of Australia’s Year 12 has been completed. This entry criterion may alternatively be satisfied by completing formal Australian Certificate IV coursework or authorized university foundation study.
You may be given advanced standing in your CQUniversity course if you have completed a certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, or equivalent.
POSTGRADUATE COURSEWORK
completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution with the last two terms’ averages equal to an Australian pass grade.
