The majority of domestic undergraduate students receive a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) in their degree, which means that the Australian government pays a portion of your course expenses and you are responsible for the remaining balance as a “student contribution.”

The Australian Government’s Higher Education Loan Program (HELP), which allows you to defer your student contribution in the form of a government loan known as HECS-HELP, which you will repay through the tax system once you reach a certain salary threshold, is frequently available to domestic undergraduate students.

While some domestic postgraduate programs provide Commonwealth-funded spots for domestic students, most require full fee payment.
